A beautiful walk or bike ride into the Quabbin via gate 40, the Dana Town Common is a large open expanse with markers and cellar holes to explore. Many of the signs are old or missing: it would be nice if they were replaced. Very handy port-a-potty onsight. Found a porcupine resting in a tree branch. Going to go back with a bike and a picnic!
